More Creative Edge...

Here is my layout from Janine's class at Creative Edge. Sorry the picture isn't too great but it is so gloomy here today.

Now just my album to finish, I think that will take a while, need to get some pictures together.

Creative Edge

Yesterday I attended Creative Edge which was held here in South Australia. It consisted of a full day of Scrapping fun with 3 classes held by Kate Mason, Janine Koczwara and Steph Devlin. I was very excited to do Kate Mason's class as I have admired her work for ages. I enjoyed all of them and learn alot of new techniques and use of products I haven't considered before such as glimmermist, mediums, napkins etc. I don't normally get messy and get so involved but I did enjoy it and hope to use these techniques more often.




Here is one layout I have completed which was from Steph's class. Very bright for me but I don't mind the result. We used glimmermist on the Prima trellis roses which was lots of fun, I do love the result of those.

I hope to get the other layout of Janine's and the gorgeous Prima album of Kate's finished real soon and will upload for you to see.

Shabby Challenge #3.......

Here is my entry for this months challenge over at "Let's Get Shabby" you had to use majority of cream and white with a hint of another colour. This is a picture of my Grandma and Grandpa on their wedding day.

A new layout

This is a layout I completed on our last girls crop night at my place. I couldn't believe I completed a whole layout in one night. This is my Nana and Grandad's wedding photo. I just love the old pics. I hope to get my other grandparents one done this friday night.

More Puzzles!

Here is my other layout as promised for "Puzzles". It's hard to see but I have used tulle trim for the bow on the corner where the paperclip is and I wrapped tulle trim around the stems of the vine too. If you head over to "Scrap Therapy" this month they are having 20% off all ribbons and trims.

Puzzle Sketches-Polka Dots, Bows and Paperclips

I haven't been a very good girl. I haven't done a post for months including keeping up to date with puzzle sketches.

The new pieces for August are up now over at puzzles along with some sample layouts, my last one will go up tomorrow. This is one I already completed using new Basic Grey "Dune Bug".

I will upload my other layout once it has gone up at puzzles. Voting for July pieces is happening now, go check out all the wonderful layouts and maybe give this months a go yourself. There is a heap of great prizes to be won each month. We are also going to be announcing our first creative team. It will be great to see other peoples contributions of inspiration.
